eurodata’s solutions and services recertified in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and ISO 22301

The technical inspection agency TÜV Hesse has reconfirmed eurodata AG’s existing certifications for no fewer than three ISO standards. As long ago as at the end of August 2020, the combined audit, in which the systems established at eurodata were inspected in accordance with ISO 9001 (quality management system), ISO 27001 (information security management system) and ISO 22301 (business continuity management system), was brought to a successful conclusion.

Because of the increasing deployment of IT systems, information security is becoming more and more important to enterprises. With the ISO certifications ISO 9001, ISO 22301 and ISO 27001, eurodata AG provides proof of defined security standards, including – for the first time – the area of software development (ISO 27001).

Dr. Dirk Goldner, chairman of eurodata AG, says: “The inspection of these standards by an independent third party guarantees that eurodata ensures the best possible quality and security in its products and services, and the security of its customers’ data too. We are proud to be able to offer our customers such a high standard.”

With these certifications, eurodata meets the following international standards (ISO):

ISO 27001
ISO 27001 is the leading international standard for information security management systems. It defines the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving documented information security management systems. It also covers the analysis and handling of information security risks. In these requirements, the values and value chains are protected by the selection of appropriate security mechanisms. ISO 27001 offers enterprises a systematically structured approach to protecting the integrity of operational data and their confidentiality. At the same time, it guarantees the availability of the IT systems deployed in the company’s processes.

ISO 9001
Both nationally and internationally, the ISO standard 9001 is the most widespread and the most important standard in quality management (QM). The certificate provides proof that the internal procedures in an enterprise comply with the international standard for quality management. Enterprises that avail themselves of this option benefit from the way this standardised norm minimises the susceptibility of their processes to errors and improves the quality of products and services, which means they guarantee their customers the highest quality.

ISO 22301
The ISO standard 22301 specifies the requirements for planning, establishing, implementing and continually improving a documented business continuity management system in order to be prepared proactively for business interruptions and improve the stability of business processes.
