Scopevisio AG and eurodata AG have announced a comprehensive product, technology and development partnership.

The partners will be combining their strengths in the areas of ERP (Scopevisio) and payroll accounting / personnel management (eurodata). In the course of their cooperation, Scopevisio and eurodata will be integrating products, developing new solutions and services for the midsize sector and tax advisors together, and creating a business platform for connected work between service provider and business.

“Our business software digitalises the processes of midsized companies holistically from the first contact, via marketing, sales, order and project management, all the way through to finance and controlling – and it does so in the secure German cloud”, says Dr. Markus Cramer, chairman of Scopevisio, outlining the advantages of his company’s solution. “In eurodata, we’ve found the ideal strategic cooperation partner in both functional and technological terms, so that we will now be able to offer the midsize sector a comprehensive solution for all business areas.”

At eurodata too, tremendous potential is seen in this collaboration. eurodata has a very broad base in functional terms, particularly in personnel management with its cloud solutions, meanwhile drawing up some 5 million payroll and salary accounts annually in the cloud – and that figure is still rising. On-line recording of time worked and on-line work scheduling round off the range in personnel management. “We go together very well, both from the point of view of strategy and from that of practical implementation”, says Dieter Leinen, chairman of eurodata, looking forward to the cooperation. “Developers from both our companies use the same development technology as a basis, and there is great mutual understanding, both in terms of of technology and as regards functional issues. Together, we’re in a position to provide the midsize sector with an excellent holistic business solution.”

In the course of the cooperation, the eurodata solutions in the areas of payroll and salary and personnel deployment planning will be integrated in Scopevisio. eurodata in turn will be complementing its product range with Scopevisio financial accounting, which is offered as a client solution. Some initial joint customer projects were presented at the ‘Cloud Unternehmertag’ on 17 January 2018 at the Kameha Grand Hotel in Bonn.

Digitalised collaboration between tax advisor and business
But the cooperation goes even further than that: the partners have agreed to develop a modern asynchronous web service (API) between the eurodata accounting solution for tax advisor’s offices and Scopevisio financial client accounting. “This will allow considerably more efficient and faster collaboration between the tax advisor’s office and the corporate client”, says Scopevisio founder Dr. Jörg Haas. The aim in the coming twelve months is to create an interoperability with the aim of putting tax advisors and businesses in a position to transfer financial accounting sub-processes to and fro as required. At any given time, both sides have up-to-the-minute financial accounting data at their disposal, and have a common platform on which to draw up commercial and fiscal annual statements of account and corporate tax returns. This pioneering interoperability turns connected work with the service-oriented tax advisor’s office of the future into reality.
