Last Thursday, three eurodata employees worked as volunteers in Saarbrücken, distributing food for Ingo’s kleine Kältehilfe. Together with five other supporters, they helped out distributing food to 64 people in need. First of all, the meals, fruit and lunch packets were prepared in a restaurant. Then, from 8 p.m. onwards, the food was distributed, after which everything was washed up and cleared away.
“This job was marked by a respectful and appreciative togetherness. Both with one another and in communication with the guests, there was an open-minded, agreeable atmosphere. The dialogue between us was a dialogue on equal terms”, said the apprentices when it was all over.
Impressed by the experiences and conversations they had that evening, the apprentices are going to carry on pitching in for Ingo’s kleine Kältehilfe. They and eurodata would like to build on that evening and the pre-Christmas donation campaign and support the association in the future too – for example in the summer months, when the amount of help available tends to decrease, as experience has shown.
