The challenge The solution The result

So far at Unimarkt, profit-and-loss data, balance lists and other business data have been entered in Excel so that comparative analyses and forecasts can be drawn up. However, because this method only offers limited analysis facilities, Unimarkt has been looking for an alternative. The aim is to introduce similar standards and visualise profit-and-loss data in a way that makes it possible to compare and analyse both individual areas and various different branches.

Via the Austrian franchise association, the attention of Unimarkt was drawn to edfis, the web-based analysis tool from eurodata. This solution is not merely able to implement the pre-defined requirements; it also supports the change from a branch to a franchise structure.

Just a short time after the start of the rollout, there are already improvements to be seen. Routine processes have been automated and are making administration easier, profit-and-loss figures can be compared more easily, and the franchisees can ‘benchmark’ and learn from one another.

Download Unimarkt (available in German only)
