KODAP receives award as 'accounting firm of the year 2020'
eurodata's partner firm KODAP has now received an award as 'accounting firm of the year 2020' from the Accountants' Association, the Chamber of Certified Accountants and the publishing house Wolters Kluwer. eurodata Austria has already been working together with this Czech firm for more than 20 years. Together, they draw up business analyses for filling station entrepreneurs.
Amongst strong competition, the KODAP Group scored well, achieving first place in the competition for 'accounting firm of the year 2020'. Under these difficult conditions in particular, the award, which was mainly concerned with the subject-specific competence, technology and innovative strength of the accountancy firms, is something very special, as the people at KODAP are well aware. The trophy was accepted symbolically on behalf of the KODAP Group at a formal on-line ceremony by Vlastimil Sojka, head of group headquarters in Liberec. During the virtual event, he expressed his thanks, not least to his Czech colleagues, who have played a great part in this success.
Almost 500 filling stations in the Czech and Slovak Republics, mainly members of the Benzina and OMV networks, are looked after by the accountants and tax experts of the KODAP Group. They in turn have been putting their trust in edtas, the accounting and controlling system from eurodata, for more than two decades.
On the basis of fixed standards, edtas regularly supplies business data for business management analyses and comparisons. Beyond that, the system also gives tax advisers the possibility to advise their filling station customers on both fiscal matters and business management. Thus the experts of the KODAP Group can offer their filling station customers an advisory and service portfolio which is simply unrivalled.
Markus Huemer, managing director of eurodata Austria, says: "We congratulate the KODAP Group on this award and are proud to have this opportunity to work together with such a professional partner. And now, in these times of the pandemic, we can see just how valuable the foundation of our collaboration is. One of the things the edtas analysis functions enabled us to do, for example, was calculate deviations in turnover and costs quickly, and then, in the next step, work out whether a filling station was entitled to receive Corona aid or not."
