eurodata extends its commitment to the Saar Scholarship Foundation

In the winter semester 2022/23 too, the Saarbrücken enterprise will be continuing its support in the area of university education. eurodata has been awarding these scholarships for more than five years now, and gives students the chance to gather personal experience in the everyday life of a software manufacturer.

Together with the Saar Scholarship Foundation, eurodata finances five Saar scholarships and five German scholarships, each of which runs for one year. Dr. Dirk Goldner, president of eurodata AG, says: "It's very important to us for students to be able to concentrate on their learning and receive solid education and training. For us, this commitment to university education is an investment in the future. That's why we like to supplement our scholarships by giving participants the chance to combine theoretical knowledge with practical work alongside our employees. This way, depending on their affinities and the way things develop, a scholarship can also form the basis for long-term collaboration with eurodata".

eurodata has long been up among the hidden champions in the German IT sector. As such, the enterprise offers working students some exciting insights into the world of work at an internationally active software enterprise with over 600 employees. Anyone who is interested in a eurodata scholarship and would like to work as a student employee will come into contact with topics such as digitalisation, cloud technology, SCRUM-based software development and artificial intelligence. Apart from that, he or she can learn what it means to operate a data centre, since eurodata has a certified high-performance data centre of its own in Saarbrücken.

To receive a eurodata scholarship, interested applicants go through a multi-stage selection procedure in which eurodata participates. The emphasis in the specialist areas is on computer science, physics, mathematics and business management. The German scholarships are awarded directly by the universities themselves.
